I’ve been enjoying a few different cured and live resin 510 vape carts from Buddies lately, but this is my first time consuming and reviewing their all-in-one (AIO) vape hardware. This review is of the Frozen Banana Live Resin, which earned an outstanding score of 92 points. This high rating is attributed to the excellent synergy between the fine-tuned, user-friendly hardware and the naturally flavorful and smooth-hitting oil.
Aroma & Appearance:
When it comes to vapes in general, the aroma and appearance are both “hidden” inside of the hardware and for this reason, I weigh these factors less than the flavor, hardware or experience when calculating the overall score. That being said, there is still an aroma that many carts will give off, especially when opening their packaging and one can also usually see the oil through a little window. In both of these respects, this Buddies Frozen Banana AIO delivers an outstanding product. There is a fresh and lively scent of bananas wafting off of the cart and the oil has golden amber coloring with no imperfections present.
Vape Hardware:
When evaluating vapes there is an additional component that is not typically present when assessing other cannabis product categories - the vape hardware itself. In this case, we have an all-in-one unit which contains its own battery. The hardware uses the same aqua-green color as the Buddies brand logo and has a very clean look to it. On one side, there is a small LED screen that comes with a removable sticker that explains the device functionality. This includes a bottom button with the typical functionality for changing the temperature and also a nice pre-heat option, if needed to unstick the oil. The LED screen readout is a very nice touch, showing several pieces of informative information including the current temp setting. The device is draw-activated and when you pull on it the screen will light up and count-up the number of seconds you are using the device for the current draw. At the end of the draw, the screen also displays the remaining battery percentage.
Flavor & Experience:
Beyond the device functionality itself, the most important factor is how the oil inside performs. In this case, the vape produces extremely smooth and flavorful hits with notes of banana, cream and a touch of lavender. I found these flavors very natural, pleasant and consistent from hit-to-hit and sesh-to-sesh. For me, the experience brought on a relaxing body feeling with a more balanced feeling in my mind, perfect for an afternoon break or evening wind-down, when you’re not quite ready to end your day yet.
I highly recommend this Buddies Frozen Banana AIO vape, particularly if you enjoy banana-flavored products. It offers a winning combination of simplicity, functionality, and flavorful oil.
