2025 California Harvest Report

The 2025 California Harvest Report is Budist’s second annual statewide harvest report, documenting the growing season through the lens of California’s sungrown farms and regions. Building on the structure established in the 2024 Harvest Report, this edition expands coverage to seven counties—Humboldt, Mendocino, Trinity, Lake, Nevada, Sonoma, and Santa Cruz—and deepens its archival value through insightful reviews of the signature cultivars from participating farms.

The report serves as a durable historical record of California cannabis, capturing regional climate, growing conditions, and terroir across the 2025 season. The publication opens with a statewide overview, followed by county sections that place individual farms within their regional context through profiles that highlight the people, farming practices, and signature cultivars unique to each farm.
