Z Cold Cure Live Rosin by Hash and Flowers

Today I bring you a review in which I had a huge honor of reviewing. I had the pleasure and honor of being one of the judges for the CA State Fair Cannabis competition, through Budist, and was able to evaluate this jar, which would eventually win the 1st place for the Live Rosin in the Concentrates category. Hash and Flowers came to make a statement with this jar and they aren’t done. They got so many flavors coming up, I cannot wait to see what they release this year!

With this competition, I was very eager to crack open every jar that had been submitted. I was too excited and this jar helped fuel that excitement even more. When I opened this jar, I was met with a strong sweet candy that had some cake/dough notes. As I tried to settle on those notes, I was hit with a strong piney grapefruit aroma. The sweet and slightly sour notes made me salivate but it was quickly overtaken by a floral perfume at the very end. The sour notes were tiny but were a great aid to influencing the overall aroma, it helped bridge the layers of the complexity of this jar.

The taste was strong and coated itself onto my lips. The moment I stepped into any room, people knew what Z smelled like. My lips were pungent and I had to carry chapstick, so I could mask the smell, with me everywhere. There was a strong sweet candy profile that was hit with a wave of grapefruit. The result ended in a robust fruity and sour blast.

The effects of this jar was definitely meant for the evenings. The taste alone had me dabbing it at all times of the day, but that was a mistake for me. I say that because I always ended up with a strong euphoric high that came along with body high that got stronger as time went on. The euphoria had me feeling as though my body was in a different state than my mind. Like in the movies where one becomes a ghost/spirit and try to reach out at their physical being. The body started off relaxing but as the minutes went by, the body high kept increasing in intensity and would result in taking unwanted naps or going to bed early.
