I was excited to try these because I love seeing THCV products in the marketplace, especially higher dose products like the Lights On gummies from Heavy Hitters, which feature 20 mg. THC and 10 mg. THCV per gummy, with five splittable gummies per package. Known for its invigorating and focus-inducing qualities, THCV is a minor cannabinoid that acts beautifully in synergy with THC to result in an uplifting, bright, bold high, and the Lights On gummies don’t disappoint in effect. The gummies offer a sharp, shiny, and energizing effect that make these a great daytime choice for the high dose consumer.

Bright vaguely fruity notes pop out of the bag but the kiwi note gets lost, overpowered by sugar and bright honeydew/green apple notes. The gummies are small and coated in a generous, finger-dusting layer of granulated sugar, and a clean, clear line diagonally down the middle guides those looking to half the dose. The gummy’s firm texture requires a bit of chewing and then dissolves into a gritty, lingering gel, but its petite size doesn’t make it unpleasant. Flavor-wise, it’s got a sweet upfront followed by a Midori Sour middle that trails off into a slightly chemically astringent finish. While it’s not the best tasting gummy I’ve ever had, it’s unique high dose and 2:1 THC:THCV blend makes this a winner.
