Bosky Genetics’ Gumosa (Black Bubblegum # 33 X Mimosa) earned its 2nd Place Medal for Indoor Flower at the inaugural MJBowl for good reason.

From the moment I opened it, Gumosa delivered a gassy gumdrop aroma that was both nostalgic and complex: sweet, sharp, and intensely layered. The flavor followed the nose almost note-for-note, offering that same sticky, candied gas flavor on the inhale and resinous depth on the exhale.

Visually, this cultivar is a showpiece. My sample of Gumosa featured dense, bulbous buds with an immaculate trim and cure. Striking purple hues weave through the greens, all wrapped in a thick, sandy-tacky coat of trichomes.

Gumosa broke down and burned beautifully! Clean, even, and surprisingly smooth for something with such a bold terp profile. The effect came on quickly with an uplifting, elated cerebral energy, balanced by a relaxed, steady body high that never felt too heavy. It’s the kind of high that feels celebratory and functional, Gumosa delivers the best of both worlds with a bright mental shift paired with nice body relaxation.

Bosky’s Gumosa is a memorable, well-deserved podium winner and a great example of thoughtful breeding and post-harvest care.
