From Seltzers to Soil

Happie isn’t just a brand; it’s a mission to bring plant medicine into the light and make it accessible for anyone who needs it. It started modestly enough, carving out a space in the cannabis drink scene, but that wasn’t the endgame. Eventually, the pull of the plant itself grew stronger.

So Happie did what anyone serious about the craft would do: they got closer to the source.

That meant teaming up with real growers in Sonoma County—like Moon Valley Farms and Dry Creek Flower Company—who treat cannabis like something sacred, cultivating clean, organic flower meant to elevate both mind and body.

“It all starts with the plant…”

Founded in 2018 with a foot firmly planted in the wellness world, Happie made its first splash in the CBD beverage game. But by 2020, they could feel it—the shift, the quiet rumble of change in the marketplace. They didn’t just ride the wave; they paddled straight into it, embedding themselves in the heart of Sonoma County, California and setting their sights on something deeper: working hand-in-hand with organic cannabis cultivators to bring the kind of medicine only California can grow. The good stuff. Real-deal herb.

For the last five years, they’ve had the good fortune to collaborate with cultivators who get it. Folks who aren’t in it for the hype, but for the love of the plant. Like Moon Valley Farms—a Sonoma outfit driven by obsession, fueled by organic farming, and the kind of pheno-hunting that’d make a master vintner blush. And Dry Creek Flower Company, a BioDynamic Living Soil farm in Healdsburg that uses an integrated approach to agriculture that honors both plant and planet.

These are growers who chase quality, not clout.

And that’s what makes them the right fit for Happie.

“And the people who care for it.”

Happie was born from a shared desire to create functional, plant-powered products that support wellness and elevate daily living. Longtime friends Pete Olander and Grant Gerleman joined forces with a vision: to bring innovative cannabis-based beverages to life, rooted in organic integrity and holistic health. Together, they set out to build more than just a brand; they aimed to cultivate a movement that normalized plant medicine in a trustworthy, accessible, and enjoyable way.

Shifting market conditions prompted a bold, strategic pivot. The team chose to get closer to the plant, diving into premium flower and preroll offerings to expand Happie’s footprint and better meet consumer demand in California. This evolution marked a deeper commitment to Happie’s core philosophy: create clean, healthy, organic products that elevate both the mind and body.

Since launching in California, Happie has been fortunate to partner with the Perfect Union Dispensary Team and the Santa Rosa community. These relationships have been instrumental in building credibility and scaling the brand within one of the most competitive cannabis markets in the world. Santa Rosa, in particular, has become a vital hub for Happie’s mission—a home base that reflects the company’s passion for wellness, sustainability, and good vibes.

Through this journey, Happie has been lucky to find and partner with like-minded cultivators, like Moon Valley Farms and Dry Creek Flower Company, who passionately grow cannabis using the most organic and natural methods possible. These partnerships are more than sourcing relationships. They’re a reflection of shared values and a mutual love for the plant.

Happie’s mission is to help educate all consumers on the best way to consume the right plant medicine in the right quantities for them. They believe their high standards and attention to detail can offer healthier and higher quality products in plant medicine/cannabis to their customers than what is currently on the market. Happie creates and produces products that they would want to consume, and they want their customers to have the same trust and confidence in their brand.

The Cultivators

Dry Creek Flower Company, based in Healdsburg, brings a complementary yet equally powerful approach to the table. Their farm is a model of sustainable, biodynamic agriculture, where cannabis thrives in the same healthy living soil that produces wine grapes, fresh fruit, vegetables, and flowers. They’ve spent 15 years refining organic cultivation methods, tapping solar power and traditional curing techniques to grow full-spectrum flower with rich color, smooth effects, and deep flavor. It’s cannabis with terroir—grown not just with intention, but with reverence.

Moon Valley Farms isn’t a flash-in-the-pan operation. Founded in 2015 with deep roots in Sonoma County, they are Dragonfly Earth Medicine-certified, small-batch, indoor-grown, living soil purists with a taste for solventless extracts done right. Built by best friends with over 20 years of regenerative farming experience, their grow is part science lab, part psychedelic sanctuary, where kale and San Pedro cactus live alongside award-winning cannabis.

The Products

From cannabis drinks to top-shelf flower, Happie has your back. They’re still offering top-shelf THC buds and serving the Delta-9 seltzers that put them on the map—plant-based, sugar-free, low-calorie, and available almost everywhere.

Cheery Cherry. Grateful Grape. Sublime. Groovy Grapefruit.
Take your pick—you’re in good hands.

You can find them coast to coast, from your local smoke shop to wellness centers, convenience stores, select liquor retailers, and through their dialed-in e-commerce platform (except Idaho, Nebraska, and Iowa). That means they’re easy to track down! Just don’t forget to check your local laws, since regulations can change depending where you are.

But drinks are just the appetizer. Happie’s flower lineup includes both Moon Valley and Dry Creek-grown heat, available exclusively in California. You’ll find eighth jars, bags in 3.5g, half-ounce, and full-ounce sizes, plus pre-rolls in singles or 5-packs.

Whether it’s Dry Creek’s Tropicana and Mendo Crumble, Moon Valley’s Government Oasis, Canal St. Runtz, or OC Tang, every strain is selected for its unique effects, clean cultivation, and unforgettable flavor.
