It’s funny that I’m impressed with the packaging when it’s what’s inside that I’m after, but I love seeing the eyes appear when I open a package from Pure Beauty. I’ve reviewed their gsd thcv product and was really impressed with not just the uniqueness of that flower, but also for the attention to detail in how it was grown. This is no different. A great cultivar selection and excellent production.

I’ve personally grown out a lot of these 88/g13 x tk hybrids but the team at Pure selected a lovely outlier to work with. The aroma coming out of the jar was a mix of earth, chemical astringency and gasoline. Trim was on point and the flower was dense.

The smoking experience was what really made this sample shine. First few hits of the joint and it was typical tk. Oily, full smoke with a petroleum taste, but two hits into it and this unexpected incredible flavor burst into view. Plumeria and daphne instantly came to mind and were such a contrast to the first two hits it just took you by surprise. That experience lasted for three to four hits before it went back into the oily gas ride that tk usually is. Beautiful and unexpected detour which made me want to roll another.

The high was to me balanced and fun. The onset was quick, but not incapacitating and the effects were both body and mind. The floral experience mid smoke brought with it a burst of mental energy that just lit up the room. Come down was easy and the experience had great longevity which should keep the consumption pace lower so good for the smoking budget too.

Pure put some obvious care in the selection and the production which says a lot about the brand.
