Whitethorn Rose is one of those strains that immediately commands attention; from the second you crack it open, you're hit smack-dab in the nose with a wild swirl of apricot jam, citrus blossom in full bloom, and an unforgettable floral, sweet, and gassy explosion, all at once. Think: creamy berry tart that’s been resting in a sun-warmed garden. Pure Humboldt vibes. 

This is small-batch solventless from the source, from Huckleberry Hill Farms, deep in Southern Humboldt, bred by Johnny Casali, as a tribute to his mother and their family's legacy in the hills. Rose is also his partner on the farm who blesses the plants with sound healing and local geodes they forage from the hills.  Manufactured by ST6R (my Green Network), they partner with Emerald Cup winning farms to produce 6-star hash, then they turn that hash into a top tier live rosin vape that is set to the perfect temp so it captures the quality of the product. 

It’s a cross of Paradise Punch and Lemon OG, and you can feel the history in every puff. Grown outdoors in native soil, with the kind of care only legacy growers can provide, this isn’t some hype-chasing cultivar. It’s intentional. Deep. Rooted.

On paper, it comes in at 81%total cannabinoids (76.6% THC, 15% CBD, and 6.6% terps) … and you taste every bit of that. 

The aroma and flavor are some of my favorite in the space -- It’s got this soft cheesecake-y richness, layered under some really bright fruit and strong herbal gas. The kind of vapor that coats the mouth and lingers in the best way.

As far as experience goes, the high hits quickly, but smooth. Not too heady, not too sleepy (which is good for me). It’s uplifting, a little euphoric, but still grounded. I kept going back to it not just for the flavor, but for the feel; clear, calm, and dialed in. You could take this on a hike or sit down and write something that’s been living in your head too long (You know what I’m talking about!).
