This purple papaya (purple punch x papaya) from Master Makers is an absolute hitter! Accordingly, it won silver in the rosin category at the California Cannabis Awards this year. Made in collaboration with the renowned Mattole Valley Farms, purple papaya is a delicious treat that leaves fruity and floral notes singing on the palate.

Appearance - 9.2/10
The rosin presents as a single, thick dollop with a smooth, batter-like consistency. Its color is a pale, buttery yellow with a glossy surface that catches the light, hinting at a rich terpene content.

Aroma - 9.3/10
The aroma isn’t overly complex, but the discernibly sweet and fruity aroma is potent and highly appetizing.

Flavor - 9.5/10
Every aspect of this rosin is high level, but the flavor is where it stood out for me. The sweet, tropical fruit terps, undoubtedly from the papaya, lead the way but are swiftly infused with floral lavender elements. The profile is incredibly appealing to me personally. The flavor is potent and provides a substantial mouth coat that hangs around for a bit. This is honestly one of those ones I could repeatedly dab for the terps alone. Thankfully it gets me super stoned too!

Experience - 9.4/10
I liked this one so much that I’ve been trying to preserve it as much as long as possible. The potent effects have enabled me to do that pretty well up to this point as I’m able to achieve substantial with heights from 1-2 dabs. The high is initially mentally euphoric without significant stimulation. This quickly settles into a moderate relaxation in both the body and mind. I certainly wouldn’t say this one is a “day ruiner” in that you probably won’t be stuck on the couch after a couple dabs, but I do think it lends itself more to relaxing activities like cozying up for a movie or kicking back with friends and family while enjoying some good food. Because it definitely gave me the munchies.
