I’m overjoyed to share this review of Arcata Fire x Ridgeline Farms Purple Lantz all-in-one vape pen, which scored 94 points and is, to date, the best-tasting solventless vape pen I’ve experienced!
Summary: The hardware is perfectly tuned, delivering consistent function and flavor even after extensive use. The aromas are a sweet, citrusy, and fruity pixie sticks, while the intense flavors hit with floral notes of rose and grape bubble gum, sweet pine, and a pleasant lilac aftertaste. The Purple Lantz also delivered a balanced high in my body and a moderately stimulating head high, leaving me in a very euphoric, aware and present state. This device truly excels with smooth draws and consistently flavorful, puffy clouds.
The Details: I have previously reviewed the Arcata x Ridgeline Lantz all-in-one release from last year and it also scored 94 points and was my highest scoring vape review to date at that time. So what’s different about this Ridgeline Purple Lantz vs. the high-scoring Lantz original release? Purpz from Humboldt Seed Company! Adding this purple GMO to the mix creates the best tasting solventless vape pen that I’ve had to date!
Starting with the packaging and appearance, the box and hardware are the same as the previously reviewed Ridgeline Lantz all-in-one. The ACTIVE hardware is tuned perfectly for this oil and it really delivers in function and consistency. I used this pen until the very end, even while traveling and storing it in my pocket for hours. Despite these less than ideal conditions, the last few sips were still fantastic! This is a significant improvement over many other pens or cartridges that tend to overheat or burn the oil over time, leading to a changed or undesirable product.
Back to the profile: Prior to taking my first hit, I give it a deep whiff and pick up aromas that remind me of a citrus and fruity pixie stick - sweet! I start off with a few small puffs and then take a deeper puff and the clouds and flavor are very intense. The flavors are outstandingly intense - it hits initially with a strong floral essence, made up primarily of the namesake rose, along with the taste of grape bubble gum. Underneath is a very sweet layer of pine - not that pinesol flavor you get with the lemon, but pure pine, like the taste of sweet pine needles in a cocktail. There’s also a very pleasant floral aftertaste of lilac on my lips for the finish.
The Purple Lantz hit’s pretty strong with the effects as well. For me, it presented a balanced high in my body and a moderately stimulating head high that put me in a very euphoric, aware and present state - just the right kind of medicine for me!
Most impressively, the device works very well for both the small and bigger pulls and the smoothness is truly supreme! Even after repeated use over a period of time, the all-in-one hardware delivers consistently smooth and flavorful results and puffy clouds.
