Sunrise Mountain Farms is a regenerative cannabis farm located in the hills of Humboldt County. They are run by a husband wife team and their plants grow at 2500' and drink spring water. Suffice to say, Sunrise Mountain Farms brings the taste of their place in every single jar.

This particular jar is Burmese Mimosa - a cross of Rose Mimosa and Orange Burmese - created by Equilibrium Genetics from California heirlooms and Asian and African landraces. This cultivar represents a breeding lineage that is distinct from most other plants on the market, yet it has a pleasantly familiar entry point with a hint of tropicanna sulphur compound fueled citrus fruitiness from both the Mimosa and the African Orange roots.

The nugs are sharp, not budular, and frankly that holds so much bag/jar appeal to me. The bracts are smaller, and I see that and the plant's plasticity as evidence of its less inbred nature.

The smell is deeply earthy at its base and fruity in the air. Citrus is what pierces through but it is not overwhelming by any means. There's a woodyness that permeates as well. All this translates to the taste in a full smoke and pleasant relaxing high. My body and my mind kinda take a break in a way that l just can't naturally do while in a concrete jungle.

The kind of relaxation that is characterized by running water, just the right amount of sunlight, and sounds of that one bird I'm able to identify. Dream of watching the sunrise from atop the mountain kind of high. A welcome fruity departure from the candy and the gas as I have found everything from Sunrise Mountain Farms to be.

All in all, I dig the vibes of this flower from the breeder through to the grower and just like that an 8th jar dissapears and all I have left is this written memory of the high.
