Bananalope Disposable Vape by Errl Hill
91 Points
Despite not medaling, this Bananalope live resin vape by Errl Hill was a strong contender in this year’s California Cannabis Awards as part of the California State Fair. I could not identify the exact lineage (will update later if I find it, per usual), but I’m pretty sure it’s a cross of Chocolope and Honey Banana (I’m leaning towards this) or Banana OG. Overall, this is a high quality vape with excellent hardware that can deliver delectable fruity terps anywhere you please.
Hardware 9.2/10
The design of this all in one disposable vape is compact and ergonomic making it easy to use discreetly. It has a clear window near the top showing the pristine, golden live resin inside. The airflow fits my preferences as it is only slightly restricted while not overly airy. The vapor production is great, but I opt for shorter rips to maintain the integrity of the oil as long as possible. I saw this hardware being used with rosin a year or so ago, and while it never took off in that space, it’s a great fit for this live resin being put out by Errl Hill.
Flavor - 9.3/10
The terps strongly remind me of a banana cream pie. Very honey banana-esque. The profile is driven by a rich banana flavor that is accompanied by a touch of sweet cream. This one isn’t overly complex. It doesn’t hit too many notes on the palate, but the few it does are played exceptionally well.
Effect - 9.0/10
The effects of this one were surprisingly potent for a vape. I don’t love super heady highs, but I do love a strong initial head rush which this one can deliver without having to go wild hitting blinkers and all that. Like most banana strains in my experience, the effects were very balanced leaning a bit more into the physical relaxation side. It can definitely be used all day, but it’s not one that necessarily invigorated me.
Loved those dang terps tho!
91/100 - outstanding product that I definitely recommend.
