Matthew Shevach is a Certified Ganjier, cannabis educator, and founder of The Dab Standard. With eight years of experience in the legal cannabis market and a 25-year background in technology, Matthew is dedicated to elevating the standards of cannabis quality, consumer education, and personalized cannabis guidance.

Currently, Matthew serves as a key member of the Budist team, where he manages operational initiatives across product and marketing departments. He also manages relationships with Budists, develops competition systems and judging protocols, and facilitates the operational execution of competitions, including the California Cannabis Awards, MJBowl, and Farmers Cup.

As a Budist Critic, Matthew shares his passion for wellness and craft cannabis. While his primary expertise lies in concentrates—a focus he bridges through his consulting work at The Dab Standard—he regularly assesses flower, vapes and other wellness products to guide the community.

A mentor within the Ganjier community, Matthew brings a strategic perspective anchored in a 25-year career in technology and SaaS.

When he isn't analyzing the latest market innovations, Matthew is likely out seeing live music, hiking, camping, or snowboarding. He is a proud parent to five young adults!
