Jocelyn Sheltraw
Jocelyn Sheltraw is a certified Ganjier and cannabis enthusiast. A regular flower consumer, Jocelyn has explored hundreds of strains, and developed a particular love for craft cannabis. What started as a personal journey has evolved into a passion for understanding the plant’s artistry.
As co-founder of Budist, the first dedicated rating and review platform for cannabis brands and products, Jocelyn is committed to creating a community where people can learn, share, and connect over their appreciation for quality cannabis.
Before founding Budist, Jocelyn spent five years at Headset, a leading cannabis data company, where she observed consumer trends evolve alongside the legalization of new states. An advocate for policy reform, she served on the California Cannabis Industry Association’s Board of Directors from 2021-23. Her leadership has earned recognition on Leaf Magazine’s '2024 Impact List', MG Magazine’s '40 Under 40', and a nomination as one of the ‘100 Most Influential People’ by Global Cannabis Times.
Jocelyn is also passionate about travel and exploring the intersection of wine, cannabis, food, and community. She is captivated by the people, culture, and history that shape these experiences. For Jocelyn, connoisseurship is as much about the connections we make as the products we enjoy.
